LUNCHTIMES

Lunchtimes are split into 2 sittings.  The children sit in specific places during lunchtime so we are able to tell who each child has been next to in case isolation is needed.  We always have members of staff alongside the Principals staff to ensure good behaviour in the hall.

Pixie and Elves Classes (Red Bubble) have lunch in the hall on the first sitting from 12 - 12.25  They are then able to go out onto the field to play until 1pm.

The hall is then wiped down before the second sitting.

Trolls and Griffin Classes  (Blue Bubble) play on the field from 12-12.30 and then have their lunch in the hall on the second sitting from 12.35 - 1.00.

ILLNESS - This is the same as above - please contact the school office should  your child be unwell.  A telephone call (01795 521362), message left on parentmail or email (office@lynsted-norton.kent.sch.uk) to let us know why your child is not in school.

If your child has covid symptoms (temperature, new continuous cough or lost their taste or sense of smell) you will be asked to isolate and obtain a test and must get a negative result which we must see before your child can come back to school.  If they get a positive result they must stay home and isolate for 10 days.

If someone in your household has symptoms then everyone in your household must isolate.  That person must obtain a test.  If it is negative your child may return to school.  If it is positive then the whole household must continue isolating for 14 days.
